Matt & Stephanie Powers have worked with children and youth in various capacities for a combination of over 15 years. Matt is also a musician and enjoys serving the Lord on worship teams. Matt and Stephanie consider their most important ministry to be their family, where their priority has been homeschooling their four children for the last nine years. Their heart is to intentionally bring children up in an environment of prayer and worship, counter to the culture of this age, where they learn to seek God, grow in hunger for the supernatural, and have the freedom to discover their creative capacities and limitless potential in God. “Our desire is to raise up children who can boast in their knowledge of God's heart (Jer. 9:24), have understanding of the times and seasons (2 Chr. 12:32), and who, like Daniel, pursue Him for answers to life’s questions. We pray that the Father will release His Spirit into the lives of your children so their faith will rest in Him alone (1 Cor. 2:4-5), so that they will learn to love Jesus Christ by keeping His word in their hearts (Deut. 6:5-7, John 14:15), and so that they will be released to operate in the fullness and power of the Holy Spirit in signs and wonders (Joel 2:28).”
